Pilates is a body conditioning routine that uses controlled breathing techniques combined with structured movement to create an incredibly effective and efficient workout. Pilates will improve muscle tone, balances musculature, range-of-motion, posture, flexibility, muscle strength, and endurance for your whole body. Pilates puts emphasis on spinal and pelvic alignment, breathing, and developing a strong core which improves balance and coordination. It is also useful for lumbar stabilization, lower back pain, and pelvic floor dysfunction. Pilates will challenge you mentally & physically, leaving you feeling stress-free and invigorated after each session.
We offer Pilates in both a group fitness format, and in our Pilates Studio with our Reformers and Trapeze Table. We are the only club in our area to offer an Open Gym Pilates Program! It’s a self-directed program concept that allows you more flexibility to get fit on your time. Rollingwood specializes in creating happy, balanced Pilates Bodies!
