Bret Gibson, Fitness Director

"A little bit about me… the fitness me. My journey to fitness started as a young competitive athlete. I gravitated towards baseball and even worked my tail off all the way through the collegiate ranks. Being a highly competitive athlete forced me to push my mind and body to the limits. Thus, I naturally adopted fitness and overall wellness as an integral part of my life. My unrelenting passion and zeal for overall health wellness ultimately carried over into my decision to pursue a career in fitness. My transition into fitness as a career started in the trenches at California State University East Bay, as a student in Kinesiology, Athletic Training. In this environment I specialized in rehabilitation, corrective exercise, and performance enhancement. I also served as an assistant at a Sports Performance Physical Therapy center where I worked alongside Sports Performance Coaches and Physical Therapists. I continued my education as a graduate student in Kinesiology, Exercise Science with an emphasis in Biomechanics. Then worked full time as one of the Master Personal Trainers at 24 Hour Fitness. Although well versed in a variety of contexts, I specialize in applied kinesiology and biomechanics as it relates to human performance and wellness. Certified through the renowned American College of Sports Medicine, I am qualified to work with a wide variety of populations. When I am not lifting heavy stuff off the floor myself, I am in the business of making bodies look as good as they perform! I'll make sure that people are getting the most out of their fitness programs both physically and mentally. I believe that we should all move well and move often and be strong in a variety of different contexts!"

"I have always had a love for being active. I grew up a swimmer & it was my drive to be the best athlete that I could be, which led me to study the human body. I learned that taking care of myself meant a lot more then just working out & seeing how hard I could push myself. After being diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, I realized true health meant caring for my mind, body & spirit. It meant respecting myself, getting in tune with & really listening to what my body needed. Through Pilates & other Holistic means, which I dedicated years of studying, I now no longer have any symptoms or signs of this autoimmune disease. Because of this experience, I am extremely knowledgeable & compassionate when dealing with clients who have restrictions. I use all pieces of the Pilates apparatus to focus on rehabilitation & injury prevention. I am passionate about sharing what I have learned with others so that they too may return to state of vibrant health." B.S. Pre-Physical Therapy Degree; Former NCAA D1 swimmer; Trained on all Pilates Apparatus; Specialty Certification in Body Arts & Science International Pilates.

Kira Perdue

NASM CPT and NETA Pilates Reformer Instructor. "Fitness did not come naturally to me and I wasn’t always committed to a fit lifestyle. I played sports in high school and then did not make fitness a part of my life for many years. After my daughter was born, I decided it was time to become a better mentor for my children and began to be more dedicated to time in the gym. I began to see real changes in my physique, my mental health and overall fitness. The changes were inspiring to me and to others and fitness became a passion for me. I constantly found ways to challenge my body and enjoyed the outcome.

After twenty years in the financial industry, I decided to redefine myself and pursue my passion of fitness. It was recently that I decided to take the next step and obtained my first certification in Pilates Reformer. Shortly thereafter, I pursued and achieved my Certified Personal Trainer certification from the National Academy of Sports Medicine. It has been an incredible journey for me and I love to inspire others to discover their passion for fitness. I believe in challenging our body to be its best so that it can be its best for us. Fitness is a lifestyle, not a quick fix and it is important to be dedicated to your health and fitness for the long-term. I enjoy the privilege of coaching others to achieve their fitness goals so that they can be their best."

Toni Mounts

“No matter your age, becoming a physically and emotionally strong and healthy individual, you create bold new possibilities for those around you. In other words, YOU touch lives!
I was never athletic when I was young but decided to take up running in the late 80's. In 1992, I began training for triathlons (swim, bike, run). Wanting to accomplish more, I hired a coach/trainer and by 1995 became an "All American Triathlete". At one time, I was 10th in the world in my age group. The value of a trainer was evident, which inspired me to become one.
In 1992, I earned my personal trainer certification. I then became certified in Post Rehabilitation in 1996 (bridging the gap between healthcare & fitness) and added Pilates in 2006. Some of the group classes I teach include circuit, Mat Pilates, Therapy Ball & Cardio.
My passions are for fitness and for helping people. Combining the two drives me each day to see my clients succeed and feel good about themselves."

Iwona Wozny

Her interest in yoga practice and yoga ethics have grown immensely since she took on daily practice and Yoga Teacher Training in California nine years ago. She feels that yoga has given her great power to heal her body and mind through gathering scattered energy, and helping her to be present in the moment. Through her practice, she is able to find her breath and stabilize how she feels, thinks, and acts. She is absolutely devoted to the beauty of the yoga flow and loves to share and to give back. She loves to guide a yoga class that offers an uplifting and inspiring meditation in movement through yoga asanas linked to breath. She invites you to step on to your mat in search of personal sensuality. Helps you to explore grounding and calming sensations of your body to quiet the daily chatter of the mind. And leads you towards an awakening of your vitality empowering your enthusiasm for life. Through the challenges on your mat, Iwona leads you to step up to your edge and find whatever is inside you that needs to be healed and released.

Matt Wagner

My greatest passion in life is sport and exercise, and it is this passion that has me here at Rollingwood! I’m a lifelong athlete and have played just about any sport you can name, but if I haven’t I want to try it! My love for sports is what got me into in training, and sports injuries got me into the physical therapy/rehabilitation aspect of fitness as well. So whether it be for fitness, sports training, or rehabilitation, it is the improvement of the function and performance of the human body that drives me to do what I do.

With the eventual goal of being both a physical therapist and athletic trainer, I attended Cal Poly San Luis Obispo where I played football and received my Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology (Clinical Exercise Science). I attended Sac State to obtain my Master’s degree in Kinesiology (Exercise Science), and am currently applying to Physical Therapy school! I have years of experience either being trained myself or training others as well as working as a Physical Therapy aide, and would love to put my knowledge and experience to work for you!

"The best project you'll ever work on is you."

I am a wife and mommy of 2 with a passion for fitness and health. I grew up tagging along with my parents to the gym everyday, skiing, running, playing sports and living a life full of activity. I am here to help people live a healthier, happier and more fulfilling life by making fitness fun, exciting and rewarding. No matter what your goals are, I am here to guide you, motivate you and be your biggest supporter. We can accomplish anything together with dedication and commitment.

I recently made the move from the corporate world into the health and fitness business. I am a Certified Personal Trainer and Bikini Fitness Competitor and have worked with clients over the past several years developing specific tailored fitness and nutrition plans to help them reach their goals. I absolutely love seeing my clients not only reach their "fitness" goals and enjoy working out, but gain confidence and lifelong healthy habits. I am excited to meet you and start your fitness journey together!
