Rollingwood Athletic Club welcomed Amy Breitbart as our Aquatics Director in April 2015. Amy is involved in all things aquatics including our team, clinics, lessons and Masters Swimming. Amy swam for CSU Bakersfield and while attending CSUB, she was an NCAA All-American, Academic All-American, and NCAA post-graduate scholarship recipient. She started teaching swim lessons and lifeguarding as a teenager. At the age of 16, she became a California State Lifeguard on the beaches of Southern California & worked on the beach for several years as a lifeguard as well as a Junior Lifeguard Instructor. As part of that program, she taught children water safety, respect for the ocean and basic lifeguarding skills. She was also an open-water competitor. She and her husband, Chris manage Wolverines Aquatics Club, a USA Swimming team, out of Sierra College in Rocklin. Her passion for swimming has remained evident throughout her life and career. Amy is also a USA Swimming coach and Crossfit Level 1 certified.
Rollingwood features both heated indoor and outdoor pools. We have a heated indoor pool that is perfect for year-round lessons and our beginner swimmers. We also have a competitive four-lane outdoor pool that is kept at an ideal temperature year-round for our summer team, our fall competitive program, and our winter and spring stroke clinics.
The focus of our programs is stroke fundamentals, which we teach through a variety of technique-intensive drills, games, and repetition. Our knowledgeable and experienced coaches and instructors have a passion for teaching and interacting with young swimmers. The quality of our programs and staff is second-to-none.
Come swim with Rollingwood! We have something for everyone year- round, rain or shine.
For more information on any of our swim programs, please contact our Aquatics Director, Amy Breitbart.
We look forward to swimming with you!
